Jennifer can rebound and score like few other players can. She led all players in the nation in rebounding her senior season with 14.7 rebounds a game. She pursues the ball and is quick to it, and runs the floor better than most players. She is very solid defensively, sees the court well and anticipates plays. 2003 – Jennifer was the 15th player taken in the WNBA draft when she was chosen by the Cleveland Rockers. She tore her anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in training camp, had surgery and will return to the court as soon as possible. She spent the 2003 summer on the injured reserve list for Cleveland, doing rehabilitation and working out with team trainers and physicians. Doctors expect Jennifer to return 100 percent and play competitively within a few months.
College career
2003 – Jennifer was a Kodak All-American finalist, Region I selection and Associated Press All-American while at Massachusetts. She was the Atlantic-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and earned all-conference honors all four years. She led the nation with 14.7 rebounds, and scored 17.5 points a game. She posted 23 double-doubles this season, including three 30-plus point performances and four 20-plus rebounding games. She was first in the conference in rebounds (14.7), first in steals (2.43), second in scoring (17.5 ppg), fifth in blocks (1.25) and 13th in field-goal shooting percentage (.460).
